The Harlem Book Fair was a wonderful opportunity to meet with readers and fellow writers. Attended by over 30,000 readers and viewed by millions on C- Span, the Harlem Book Fair stands as the nation’s flagship African American public literary event. 2015 marked the 17th year of the Harlem Book Festival and, despite the NY summer heat, was enjoyed by all. I enjoyed reading The Truth About Awiti, as well as attending panels by prominent authors and poets. The weekend was filled with literary discussion and enthusiasm. And I look forward to attending next year!
